The lake is home to eagles, herons, geese, ospreys and fish! You will see kayakers out there fishing! Stowe Mt and Smuggler’s Notch are both nearby. Breweries, art galleries, restaurants are close by. You can walk or bike to the 93 mile Lamoille Valley Rail Trail from our home. Our shed is available for storing your bikes, kayaks or skis.

Rochester House is near restaurants, trails, family-friendly activities, and lake beaches. It's convenient to many destinations, including, Hill Farmstead, Caspian Lake (beach) and Craftsbury. A short walk to the Farmer's Market, grocery stores, and most village restaurants. Downtown is .7 miles, 15 min walk. This may be too far in winter.
