Sit by the propane fueled fireplace on a chilly night. Brunswick, home of Bowdoin College and a # of great restaurants and unique shops is just 5 mi. Travel by bus or train to/from Boston. Our cottage is meant to be both contemporary and rustic. It is where we go to get away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world and slow down. There is no TV or internet, even our phone is an old rotary one. You will see that we have a good radio, and games and books to read, and plenty of things to do outside. We hope you will take the time at our cottage to comfortably reconnect with yourself, and each other, while enjoying what Maine is renowned for, our quality of life.

Freshly renovated inside and out, the cottage is your private Maine camp. Located on an acre and a half of wooded grounds, and surrounded by forest, the cottage feels secluded, but it’s only a mile to the restaurants, shops, and waterfront attractions of bustling Boothbay Harbor. With hiking trails in the Pine Tree Preserve that adjoins the property and the Lobster Cove Meadow Preserve a five minute walk up the road, you can also explore nature and enjoy the solitude of the woods.

The Waterfront Cottage sits directly on the shores of Snow Pond, 15 minutes from Colby College and downtown Waterville and 1/2 mile from the Snow Pond Center for the Arts. Enjoy the BEST sunset views from the private dock and listen to the waves and loons at night. The private front deck is the perfect spot for a sunset cocktail after a day of swimming and kayaking from the sandy beach. You also have a private outdoor hot soaking tub and water view barrel sauna. Paradise!

A heat pump provides heating and cooling. Shaded picnic table and propane grill. Parking for one car only (no trucks/trailers). Ask about extra parking. One well-behaved dog is allowed, note $35 pet fee. No other pets or children. No TV, good wifi. 10pm quiet zone.
