There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

Ivy Bank Studio Creetown - Gem Rocks Neighbour.

Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

For couples or individual explorers (and dog), this beautifully restored, cosy apartment is an ideal retreat for escaping the rat race. The cottage is located on one of our two beef farms, in South West Scotland, just outside the historic town of Whithorn, in the beautiful southern Machars. Our cottage sleeps 4 people, within two spacious bedrooms. A fully enclosed garden is situated on site, suitable for tiny tots and pets of all kinds. This cottage is no distance from local amenities, picturesque walks, local beaches and golf courses.

Central heating, double glazing modern kitchen and very comfortable.2 bedrooms double plus twin beds,and walk in shower. Established garden, bbq area safe shed for bikes. Owner nearby and cleans and advises on places to visit. Pets on approval. No electric car charging allowed at the cottage as wiring and fuses not suitable.

This charming, single-level former farm worker's cottage comfortably accommodates up to six guests across three bedrooms: a master bedroom with a super king-size bed and patio doors opening directly onto the garden with bay views, and two additional bedrooms each furnished with twin single beds.

Kinganton Bothy, private studio with sea views

The Bothy is a modern self-contained studio adjacent to our home. An old stone bothy converted in 2017, the accommodation offers a private open plan space with it's own entrance, patio garden and parking. Situated on a smallholding looking out to sea in a beautiful region on the Solway coast, secluded beaches and coves are only a 15 minute stroll and the artists town of Kirkcudbright a short drive away. We offer a 15% discount for weekly stays.
