The neighborhood itself is a 5 minute drive or short bike ride from grocery stores and restaurants, down the street from the neighborhood boat launch ramp, as well as nature preserve with paved trails that lead to YMCA. Located at the Tybee Island Marina on Lazaretto Creek, along the western boundary of Tybee Island, The Houseboat offers spectacular sunrise and sunset views nestled in a serene spot between the beach on Tybee or a day exploring Savannah. Due to its location on a floating dock in a tidal creek, with low tides making for a difficult/steep transition between the floating and stationary docks, The Houseboat is not ideal for guests with mobility issues.
