Enjoy this peaceful redwood retreat tucked away in the Santa Cruz Mountains. This small private cottage comes with a private hot tub, outdoor shower, propane fire pit and hammock. You'll be 10 minutes to downtown Felton and 25 minutes to Santa Cruz. The cottage is on a shared property and next door to the main house. Please note there is no indoor shower (outdoor only). Birken House is located above a home based bakery in the grounds of a 110-year old farmhouse, and is rumoured to be the location of an original stagecoach stop on the Douglas Trail. The suite is south facing, with tasteful decor and big folding doors opening on to an awesome view . It's rustic but contemporary; airy in summer and cosy in winter. It’s 30 minutes north of Pemberton, and is a great base from which to explore Birkenhead Provincial Park, Gates and Anderson Lakes
