Experience Maui's first working fiber farm, home to Alpacas, Llamas, and Angora rabbits. Sitting at 3300 ft above sea level, Cottontail Farm enjoys perfect weather days and crisp, cool nights. The cooler temperatures are perfect for our wool producing animals that graze just outside your cottage in the back yard. Our alpacas and llamas are quiet observers but also provide plenty of entertainment of their own. Our group of Angora rabbits can be seen out the window hopping around their enclosures.

The bottom level of the house is on the cliffs edge so you will have a Birds Eye view of all the whale activity and people watching on the beach. The large deck has glass railing which makes it completely unobstructed. There are no neighbors directly on either side so it is very quiet and private. Newly renovated small-scale kitchen & living room. Just a short walk to the restaurants. Perfect for R&R.

You’ll be close to Yosemite, but also conveniently close to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and everything else this cute mountain town has to offer! We’re also very close to Bass Lake, and walking distance to Lewis Creek Trailhead, a National Forest trail featuring two waterfalls.

The Overlook House with amazing view!

We chose to share our guest house primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guest house for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guest house with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. It’s a one hour drive to Hells Canyon boat launch at Pittsburg Landing on the Snake River. Both areas are great for boating, rafting, and fishing. This studio guest house comfortably sleeps 4 with a queen sized bed, comfortable pull out couch, and separate full bathroom & shower. The unit also has a kitchen and private deck to enjoy the wildlife and million dollar view!
