Otter House

Otter House is a beautifully appointed log cabin in the trees overlooking Otter Lake. It is comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen. The lakefront has a small beach, 3 kayaks, a canoe, hammocks and a fire pit. Otter Lake is a tranquil spot with great fishing and very little boat traffic. Canoe up the Otter River or Kayak down to the dam. You will see eagles, beavers, turtles, loons, geese and if you're lucky an otter. There is a parking pad for your RV or trailer.

ATTN: Snowmobilers/UTV..Looking for activities? Come for a peaceful stay at Starry Sky Lodge. Snowmobiles and UTV get away as you are about 2 miles from trail 3. Or check out the mines and waterfalls. Visit the Porcupine Mountains for hiking and breathtaking views. Hike the trails in the state parks. If you need some city vibes-Houghton is nearby. And, of course, be sure to take in the night sky-away from the city lights! Whatever your interest is, we hope you will find it!

The Beach House

Beautiful year round beach house. This tiny house is located on Second Sand Beach. Guests will enjoy an all sand beach on Lake Superior. It is 8 miles from the town of L’Anse, and a 40 minute drive to Houghton. Cross country ski trails, snowmobile trails, hiking trails, and ORV trails are minutes away. Participate in the many summer and winter fishing tournaments in the area or relax and unwind on the private beach. A boat launch area is a short walk down the beach.

Bring the whole family to visit the Northwoods in any season!! We are located right on the Three Lakes Chain, 1 mile north of Three Lakes and 8 miles south of Eagle River! We are right on Rangeline Lake (400 feet of lakeshore property shared by 4 rental houses). Rangeline Lake connects to the rest of the Three Lakes Chain of Lakes. We have great fishing, boating, water-skiing, tubing, biking, hiking, ice-fishing, snowmobiling....all from our front door.

Enjoy the Northwoods from this centrally located vantage point. On the Pioneer Creek, you are just moments away from hunting, fishing, kayaking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, canoeing, ATV/UTV trails, bike trails, or just plain relaxing. This carriage-house apartment can sleep up to five in a bedroom, full size hide-a-bed in living room, and loft area. Canoe is available for use.
