The main house sits discreetly behind the cottage with your privacy maintained. Swimming pool available when not in use by owners, 7 pm close. Just 5 minutes to Rangiora township, 8mins to Kaiapoi river town, and 10 minutes to Pegasus, Woodend and Waikuku beaches. Our area hosts over 28 wonderful cafe's for coffee lovers.

Harleston House allows you to take your country breath, while being handy to a the local rural towns. It is on the main road - but private. Welcome to the Ponderosa B&B

Our farm-style B&B is the perfect place to relax in tranquility. Only 20 minutes from Christchurch City and two minutes to the local town, this guesthouse is the perfect rural experience without being far from where you need to go. The Ponderosa B&B is self-contained and independent from the main home, with private access and parking. We welcome dogs and can even arrange grazing for horses. It is fully furnished for your comfort, down to board games, tennis court and fresh chicken eggs.

The Guest House

The Guest House is set in beautiful park like grounds, so you'd be forgiven for thinking you are miles away from civilisation, but it's only 5 minutes to Rangiora. It's a gardeners delight, and we encourage you to explore the grounds. You have full use of the house, including kitchen, seperate dining and a large lounge which boasts a fabulous log fire and 1970's architecture. You are welcome to bring your pet but please keep them off the beds and furniture, to respect future guests.

Only 40 min from Christchurch, there is much to explore in the area, including horse riding, hikes, cafes, gorges, rivers, and just over an hour to Mt Hutt ski field. All the mod cons are provided to ensure a comfortable and relaxed break!

The Cottage at Whites Farm

Private sunny (Fraemer) cottage, horses and dogs welcome, 2 bedrooms (both have queen size beds), on a small farm, parking, internet. Mandaville shops (5 mins drive) - Indian, Thai, fish n chips, bar and restaurant; Rangiora & wineries nearby, Airport 15 mins, Christchurch City 15 mins away. We have calves and cows, and 2 dogs, Olive and Dante; children and dogs need to be supervised and have fun, horses welcome @$50.00 a night ** please let us know if you are bringing a dog,

The Shed

Escape to the country, and unwind. Set in a peaceful rural area, only 10 minutes from Rangiora. The Shed is is bright, comfortable and private with a deck overlooking the paddock and extensive views of the mountains. We have had many very happy guests that have stayed to enjoy it. As we are on a rural property we do not allow any dogs/pets on the premises and the maximum guests are limited to 2. Please Note: There is no Wifi available, and you will need to use your own data.

Foxglove cottage. Surrounded by nature

Just a five-minute drive from Darfield township, this cosy cottage retreat is perfect for exploring the South Island or enjoying a restful break. The accommodation occupies the downstairs part of the cottage,it offers a kitchen-diner, main bedroom with ensuite, and a sofa bed in the lounge. The cottage is connected to the main house via a link building whilst still maintaining your own private entrance, Family dogs are on site but securely housed and do not access guest areas.
