Te Tiro Cottage Two & Glowworms

We have two beautiful “Pioneer-style” cottages nestled in amongst the stunning Waitomo landscape. Enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the central North Island and mountains in our two self-contained, pioneer-style cottages (sleep 4 persons). - Cottage set-up to sleep 4 people - 2 Adults and 2 children - 2 Couple (Cozy) The price is for a up to 4 guests. Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We are a 15-20 minute drive past the Waitomo Village so it pays to eat before you come up or bring supplies with you. There is a two element cook top and a microwave. The cottage is one room with a queen bed down and a small loft above that has two single mattresses in it. Cosy but cute. Each cottage has its own bathroom about 8 steps from the cottage. We would love you to come and share our little piece of paradise. The accommodation is nestled within a bush setting on top of a hill where you can see out over the whole central north Island. You even have your own grotto only meters from your door where you can sit quietly surrounded by a galaxy of Glow-worms. Enjoy the starry nights and peace and quiet of the country. You are more them welcome to wander around the farmland and enjoy the fantastic views, check out the Dab Chick Pond and beautiful native bush. Amazing views/Glowworms/Native bush/Caves/Black Water Rafting. If we are not going to be home there is still family around to help out if needed. Check in is from 3pm/ check out at 10am.

The Retreat features only 8 chalets located on expansive landscaped grounds, its own private lake access, and beautiful views. Cosy Mt Ruapehu Chalet

Open plan living area with a light and bright modern kitchen, a spacious living area with a large wood burner that heats the whole house, plenty of firewood and a large private deck. The two spacious bedrooms are off the lounge making all rooms easy to heat. There is also a heat transfer system that takes warm air from above the wood burner and sends it directly to the drying room - great for drying ski gear after being on the mountain all day.

Peaceful Ski Chalet – Lake Taupō Views

Great for skiers, trampers, mountain bikers, horse-riders. Plenty of room, with a casual rustic atmosphere. Hot tub, drying room, pool table, board games. Handy to amenities and the end point of the 42nd traverse, Owhango has beautiful bush walks, river swimming, kayaking, fishing, and more. Only 15 min from National Park township with rock climbing and 4-wheel drive tours, and only a 25 min drive to the beautiful Whakapapa ski field.

Romantic night in a 'Hole in the Ground'

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Spend a night in a real 'Hole in the Ground' in the middle of the Waikato. Situated between my grapes and the Feijoa orchard. Comes with a nice breakfast with homemade bread and bacon and eggs (own chickens) and homemade jams. Only suited for one or 2 persons (pets only at prior approval, service animals are ok).

Brand new self contained Studio with covered deck area, opening onto fully fenced sunny garden, private from neighbours. Short walk to Main Beach, Estuary and Nine Hole Golf Course. Whangamata is suitable for all water sports, walking, tramping, biking etc Our township hosts general shopping, cafes and restaurants.

Matakana Village Chalet and sleepout

My place is a self contained unit with a separate bathroom and bedroom. The lounge/kitchen has a day bed also. We have just added an extra sleepout with queen sized bed. and a single bed. We provide milk, yoghurt, cereal tea and coffee as a first morning breakfast starter.
