Quinta Catrinandes is a home, that includes a main house and an adjacent hall - Rose Hall. You will be staying in one of the rooms of the main house. Surrounded by five acres of sacred land, with many oak trees, chestnut & hazelnut trees, eucalyptus & pine trees. Feel the soul of Catrinandes in the seven ancient olive trees that line up facing west towards Serra do Caramulo.

Recently refurbished, it has maintained much of the old world charm and all its character whilst catering to modern comforts. Set amidst a flat top hill or Cabeço and surrounded by a lovely mature tree garden with beautiful granite walls, the views from the house are splendid.

In the quiet village of Cimbres, 27 km from Peso da Régua, facing the Encantado Valley, the Quinta da Cascalheira was once a residence of a traditional Douro family. Today, after restoration and enlargement, the house offers 4 double rooms, 2 are suites, with independent entrances and the others share the same bathroom.   The farmhouse has four hectares of woodland and lawned area with swimming pool. Possibility to hire maid. Bicycles.

Here you will find nature and tranquillity. The house has been rebuilt from an old ruin and has lots of charm. A swimming pool and jacuzzi are included. Pure relaxation. A hearty breakfast with eggs from our own chickens awaits you. Our region is ideal for hikers, cyclists and bikers. The sea is about 1.5 hours away in Aveiro. Nazaré is about 2.5 hours away. There is no self-catering option (no cooking facilities in the room).
