The structure and basic furniture were handmade, from the stairs to the lights in the open space, made of the old doors and bee’s wax. The swimming pool was built from an old granite water tank with a view from the river just up to the sea. You will love this place due to its location, the country atmosphere so near the beach, and the uniqueness of the house.

The historic center of Viana do Castelo is a 10 minutes drive as well as several beaches such as Cabedelo beach, where you can practice various water sports such as surfing, windsurfing or paddle. The stairs to the bedroom are steep and not recommended for guests with reduced mobility.

A casa do "Sítio de Froufe" está localizada a no Lugar de Froufe, na Freguesia de S. Miguel entre ambos os rios no concelho de Ponte da Barca, geograficamente dentro do território do Parque Nacional Peneda Gerês. O que hoje é o "Sítio de Froufe", foi durante muitos anos utilizado como abrigo para animais e armazenamento de produtos agrícolas.
