Cozy and comfortable former farm house located between the neighbouring towns of Vík and Kirkjubæjarklaustur on the south coast. Only 45 km from Vík and 30 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The house is in a quiet area of the main road with beautiful scenery all around. The house is perfect for families and friends travelling together. It is a perfect base-camp while exploring the south coast of Iceland with all its amazing waterfalls and visiting the magnificent Glacier Lagoon Jökulsárlón.

Our property is centrally located to explore the natural wonders of the south. About 50 km east of Vik and 30 km west of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. 7.5 km from ring road no 1 by road 208. Most nature attractions in central south Iceland are within 95 minute's drive from us. Please note; that due to a problem with our address in the Airbnb system, the location of our cabin G-24 is not correct on the Airbnb map. Our place is accessible by any car in normal summer conditions. Free car charging.

Ideal for two adults and it is possible to add an extra bed for one child. , it features a double bed a well-organized open studio space, a kitchenette, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. A warm and brand new house that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). It is 56m2 in size and is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom and then an open space where you have a fully equipped kitchen and living room with big windows and breathtaking view. We are 15 km from the main road and the house is in a peaceful place with beautiful mountain surroundings.

The perfect locations to take day tours to the Glacier Lagoon or the Black beach in Vik with Vatnajökull National Park in the backyard. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.
