The Gateway-Getaway is only about three miles from Mount Desert Island (MDI) where you will find Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. The apartment is perfect for 1-2 people. You will stay in an efficiency apartment above our detached garage. Which is in a quiet location (although occasionally our dogs bark when outside). In the other direction, an easy 10 minute drive to Ellsworth, 29 minutes to Newbury Neck Beach, 30 minutes to Blue Hill. The perfect place to return to get away from the crowds and unwind after a day of exploring. Monthly discount will only be accepted when requesting to book months November through May.

This 1000sq log cabin is two bedrooms. A queen, 2 twins and a queen pullout couch in the living room sleeps two. This private retreat is behind a small chicken farm with cats. Offering A fully equipped kitchen +paper towels, soaps, salt pepper propane grill, t.v. Wi-Fi,DVD, toilet paper, soaps shampoos towels. A washer and dryer available for use. Family books, games,some art supplies in a separate work, craft room. The backyard offers a wood fire circle with wood cut from the land.

The Farm By The Sea Private Apartment

The Farm By The Sea is a place to unwind and take in some nature. Private Beach. Kayakers dream. The Farm sits on 5 acres on the ocean in Trenton. A short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. You may enjoy dipping your toes at the oceans edge or you may like to just watch the garden grow. The apartment is self sufficient with private bathroom and entrance. We would want you to know that we may be up early mornings along with the chickens so early risers would do best here.

Meadow Point cottage is located on a very quiet five acre property with panoramic views of Frenchman's Bay and Mount Desert Island. It takes about thirty minutes to drive over to MDI and Acadia National Park. The property has a private beach for kayaking and woods with a picnic area and fire pit. It is a wonderful spot for walking and viewing wildlife; ducks, eagles, shore birds, seals and deer.
