Beudy’r Esgob

‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. Just a stone's throw from the cottage are the well maintained walking paths that wind up to the summit of the mountain, as well as South Stack,North Stack the Breakwater Park and beyond via the Anglesey Coastal Path. A perfect base all year round for peaceful walking holidays, climbing trips or mountain biking in breathtaking scenery.

Experience camping fire cooking, and clear starlit skies, whilst having a comfy bed, a kitchen, hot water, shower compost toilet and a wood burning stove to cosy round if it gets cold. All on our sustainable ecological farm which has lakes, woodlands and animals to find and explore.

A full bathroom with a bath and over head shower, large TV in the bedroom and an enclosed private area behind the cottage to sit and enjoy but also safe if you want to bring your four legged friend with you.

We love to welcome all guests to our converted dairy Tylluan Wen (Barn Owl) which is a stone building attached to the main house. The cottage can sleep up to 4 persons in one double and one twin room. We are a growing smallholding with alpacas, sheep and chickens. We also have two dogs. Tylluan Wen is located close to an area of outstanding natural beauty, with stunning scenery and easy access to the coast, attractions and transport routes. * Hot tub has extra charge.
