"Stable Cottage"

"Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.

Set in the heart of Tramore you won’t have to walk far to get a coffee or some fresh artisan bread, with multiple restaurants to try all within a stone’s throw away! After a long walk on the beach you can also relax in the Outdoor Barrel Sauna and jump into the ice bath to cool down. I’ve been renovating this house for the last 5 years, and designed it with Airbnb Guests in mind! Also all the hot water is solar generated so enjoy a sun kissed shower every day!!!

Fantastic views and long quite walks are promised. A stones throw from the beautiful Curraghmore estate, Comeragh mountains with the spectacular Mahon Falls and Coumshingaun Lake and Slievenamon. The Deise Greenway and Copper Coast beaches are easily accessed nearby.

It is a 18min drive (20km) to the historical town of Lismore. 18 minutes to the Nire Valley where Lake fishing features.
