Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The house consist of two separate cottages connected via a roofed patio and a spacious 200sqm terrasse/bbq area ideal for any warm or colder night or day with an outdoor dining table for 14 persons. The big cottage (120sqm): 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms kitchen, dining room and open living area. Cottage 2 (60sqm): 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom kitchen and living area.
