This place is loved by the locals of the neighborhood and a great place to get a hearty breakfast without the long wait that so many Portland breakfast places have. Friendly service and good food within about 5 blocks of my home.

Damn good pizza a 10 minute walk from my house. It gets busy so go during non peak hours if you don't want to wait.

This place started as a local food cart and has expanded to a couple of brick and mortar places around town. GREAT tacos and the best house made salsas! Very casual and located on 50th just north of Powell. Seating is outside at picnic tables.

This is a local joice bar that has several locations around Portland. If you feel you have abused your body by too much food and drink, this would be a good place to stop in and treat your body to some whole food goodness. They also serve breakfast bowls with fruit, granola, etc.

A trip to Portland would not be complete without a visit to a food cart pod and this one has a LOT of carts, a nice fire pit and plenty of undercover seating! Located on 11th and SE Madison so a long walk or about 7 minutes by car.

This is a small food cart pod but quality carts! Matt's BBQ is one of the top rated carts in Portland. There is also a full bar and they serve local brew and wine. Covered and heated patio. I love this place!

This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants in Portland! They have a great view from their patio and grow a lot of their ingredients in their rooftop garden. It is not walking distance but well worth the drive! Reservations are reccommended.

Phenomenal Argentinian style restaurant best suited for carnivors but they do have incredible veggie options. Great for a special occasion. the outdoor patio is beautiful!

This particular location is in the home of an old movie theater and they stillshow movies but with a twist; You can order hearty food fare and drinks to enjoy as you sit in one of the two stories of this iconic theater. Great for a rainy day. The food isn't the best in town, nor is the beer but still worth going for the experience!
