Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They offer organic options at a reasonable price. Their vegan burger is one of the best I have ever had. They offer a design your own sandwich option, a delicious green drink and scrumptious cream cheese pie with strawberries. If you are willing to stand in line they offer some incredible green tea mate's upstairs. This restaurant offers a relaxed environment so make sure you are not in a hurry. ;-) Please note they close on Fridays and reopen on Sunday at noon.

La Jolla Cove is an unforgettable beach in San Diego ideal for snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking and swimming. With the protection of sea cliffs, this area rarely has high surf making it ideal for safe snorkeling and water play during the summer months. A white sand beach is inside the cove and although small, it's a beautiful secluded area to lay in the sand and soak up the San Diego sun. The cove in La Jolla also has a gorgeous grass park above the sea cliffs perfect for playing Frisbee, enjoying a picnic against the backdrop of the cove La Jolla.
Tip: Pick up a cup of the worlds best clam chowder from "El Pescador Fish Market" located in La Jolla and enjoy it overlooking the cliffs.

I find the park more enjoyable later in the day with fewer people, the families that rushed in to get there first thing are worn out and headed home. Besides, you avoid the heavier traffic hours that are common in Orange County.

The various gardens at Balboa Park San Diego are beautiful and worth walking through with your friends and family. With so many options, San Diego Balboa Park is the place to go if you want variety!
I love the Heikoff Giant Dome Theater in the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, its relaxing to let your imagination run wild in the world's largest IMAX Dome Theater and catch a science or nature themed flick!
