A place you might consider stopping at is Cape Perpetua with a spectacular view from top. Below it is a visitor center that can instruct you what to see. ALSO, Shore Acres (in the Cape Arago Park) near Coos Bay has an unusual outcropping where the waves crash unusually high.

Hike to overlook Thor's Well and Spouting Horn. Don't forget the Cape Perpetua Headland! The highest point accessible by car on the Oregon Coast, rich with history and views as far as the eye can see.

Beautiful hikes along the ocean. Stop by Devil's Churn, Spouting Horn and Thor's Well. Snack bar on site. If you'e lucky, free parking off the lot driving south.
