The fort in Nieuwersluis is part of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie: a unique historical system of defense lines and works that runs from Flevoland to the North of Brussels. Working in and around the Fort, culture, recreation and nature go hand in hand. Every Sunday you can eat delicious cakes and drink coffee and tea in the fort or in the garden of the fort. Nice bike ride of about 6 km along the Vecht from Maarssen. www.fortnieuwersluis.nl

Elke zondag kun je bij Fort Nieuwersluis genieten van heerlijke koffie of thee en zelfgemaakte verse taarten. Een prachtige wandeling van ongeveer 20 minuten langs de Vecht en je bent er. Echt een aanrader!
