Our favourite winery on the Bellarine. It has great French and Italian inspired sharing plates and the Bel Sel Pinot Noir is delicious.

Curlewis Winery is situated on the Bellarine Peninsula, near Geelong, one hours drive south-west of Melbourne. Wines produced are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah/shiraz and Charneis, a blend of the Italian varietal Arneis with Chardonnay.

If you prefer to wander off the beaten track and away from the crowds, Curlewis Winery is your stop. This low-key, family-run gem is so friendly and they love playing their old-school records. It’s fun to sample their tastings served out of test tubes – their Pinot Noir is legendary. @curlewiswinery
