Excellent charitable museum and gift shop. Fantastic Christmas displays in the panelled dining room on the first floor (set up in November - runs until Christmas eve)

Beautifully restored 17th Century Silk Merchant's house tucked away on Marlborough's High St. This is a real hidden gem. Many of the original decorative features and wall paintings remain. See also the 17th re-created garden and visit the shop for good quality gifts. Smaller in scale to visit than most stately homes so is a more intimate visit experience. Check website for opening times.

Historic house, well worth a tour to experience the very wonky floors. Lovely little gift shop too.
