Easy river access! There’s a green space park and cool pavilion behind the Freshtown market in Margaretville. Park and follow one of the paths down to the river. Pack a picnic and chairs or towels and dip your toes in! It’s usually shallow and rocky during summer, and sometimes you’ll see fishermen. It’s surprisingly secluded and quaint! - 10 mins away

The East brach of the delaware river begins at the Pepacton Reservoir and runs 27 miles where it joins with the West Branch in Hancock.
