“Hands On! boasts two sections in which kids can play, build, and create. The front part of the building has a little dinosaur dig exhibit and an art station. The back of the building has several interactive exhibits where kids can pretend that they are at the grocery store, ice cream shop, nursery, and stage all situated around a mountain exhibit in the middle which has a slide. Our kids love it so we highly recommend. The only downside is that they charge an entrance fee for adults. ”

“Flat Rock Playhouse, the State Theatre of North Carolina, enriches lives through the art of theatre by sustaining production excellence, nurturing talent, and inspiring creativity in a safe haven for artistic vision, life-long learning and creative risk. They normally offer top quality productions year round, however, they have closed for the remainder of 2020 due to Covid. If you visit in 2021, be sure to check and see if they are back in production, because a performance at the Playhouse is well worth the price of admission!”
