Rockhampton's second botanic gardens, highlighting Central Queensland's native flora, endemic to our district. (Must see: Also check out the Botanic Gardens and tearooms/cafe in South Rockhampton, enjoy the magnificent established trees, tropical plants and plams from all over the world!)

Kershaw Gardens is a spacious and picturesque parkland that stretches for 1 kilometre along the Bruce Highway. A circuited walking track is the perfect way to explore the park with paths winding past the wetlands, through rainforests’ and perfect waterfall. Wyatt’s Wonder Web includes five levels of play for kids (and adults). Standing at nine meters high, cling through various obstacles including climbing ropes, ladders, tunnels, three slides and swinging hammocks on the top level. Be prepared to get your toes wet in the Fitzroy River Wet Play Area. A 200mm deep meandering water course that was designed to represent the flow of water through the Fitzroy River (Tunuba) from Riverslea out to sea. It also comes complete with its very own barrage.
