The Purple Turtle is Reading's most iconic bar. It's a quirky and eclectic place with a diverse clientele. Frequent live music and occasional comedy, and a great range of spaces including an al fresco 70s lounge and a dungeon. Open all day, but comes alive at night. Open very late, ID mandatory after 9pm.
