I love this trail in Arcadia because you really get to disconnect from all the hustle and bustle that you experience in LA. In and back, it’s a good 5 mile run with downhills and uphills. You really go deep into the wilderness and when it’s a hot day, the weather there will be a lot cooler. At the end of the trail there’s a 50-foot waterfall that you’ll enjoy as a final treat. Once you get to the waterfall, hike up to the top of and get a killer view looking out into the mountains. It’s a good place to have a snack, which I recommend bringing in a fanny pack.

A medium hiking trail to see beautiful waterfalls. This trail is dog friendly and usually packed on weekends. Get here very early or go on week days.

Short beautiful hike to a waterfall! You will pass by adorable villages in the forest on the way there. It's a short fun adorable hike - or make it 20 miles to the top of Mt.Wilson!

Angeles National Forest is filled with hiking trails, rivers, and small waterfalls. I go here whenever I can use a get away into nature.

Hike 3.5 miles round trip to a wonderful waterfall. You will hike along a river and view old hunting cabins still owned by people and kept up. There is also camp sites and a long hike to Mt. Wilson if you feel so inclined. You will need a forest parking pass which can be purchased at the pack station for $5/day.
