Explore Nugget Pt and enjoy spotting the spectacular sea lions basking on the rocks. Hide away to watch the yellow eyed penguins arrive at Roaring bay. Local bush walks within 1 km.

Situated 10 mins from the township of Winton, central Southland. We are a sheep and crop farm, good views over the paddocks from the hut deck. All the basics you need, bed, chair, table, kitchen, bathroom and then your own outside eating area and bath on the deck under the veranda. Nearest town is Winton 10 mins away , with supermarket, choice of places to eat or takeaway. Private fully-fenced section, with plenty of off street parking for the cars or boat. Relax on the deck with a drink, listening to sound of the waves.

The Catlins Sanctuary is a private and cosy 2 bedroom house. It is modest but comfortable. The property has magnificent lake & estuary views, where wildlife abounds. With 360' views of the lake, estuary & bush, this little piece of paradise is perfect for indoor/ outdoor living all year round. Located off the Southern scenic route 1.5 hours south of Dunedin, this is an excellent base from which to explore the natural wonderland of the Catlins.

The Retreat was established by the Clark family who live on, and farm the surrounding land. The Clark's have been farming the 685 hectare coastal property in the Catlins for the last 25 years.
