Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Escape to our Scandinavian-style A-frame nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains! Handcrafted with care, our cabin offers a cozy retreat with modern comforts and luxurious touches. Whether you're soaking in the year round hot tub, relaxing by the fire pit, or unwinding in the infrared sauna, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into your own mountain fairy tale. Ideally located only 15 min from The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, 25 min to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge, & 60 min to Asheville!

Multi level cliff side cabin

This unique elevated cabin is built over a natural spring and has a private rock shelter patio and fire pit area. A drop down deck creates a very open feeling punctuated by views of the stream through the trees. Built mostly from timber and stone harvested from the property the cabin features Oak hard wood floors and large glass windows and French doors. The cabin does not have a kitchen or bathroom. A large common area with an outdoor kitchen and bathhouse is less than a minute walk away.

Wee Nook- a Hobbit Hole

Wee Nook is a 360 square foot living space with a full kitchen and bathroom. It is tucked underground in the middle of the woods. Please come enjoy the woods, farm animals, trails, pond and wide open space while you're here! As JRR Tolkien said: “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hold, and that means comfort.”

Romantic Treehouse w/ Sauna, Hot Tub, & Fire Pits!
