Your room is part of a historic lodge nestled lakeside in nature with fantastic views. Our stunning area has many activities to offer including various hikes, kayaking, horse treks, ziplining and more. To relax there are lounges and a hot tub, great for stargazing! If you don't feel like cooking up a feast take a break and dine in our cozy restaurant. Please note that we're a 5hr drive from Milford Sound. Not suitable for children under 10. Please look at our wilderness rooms if with children.

Arthur's Pass Ecolodge - unique off grid living

Only 10mins south of Arthur's Pass Village, on SH73, the Ecolodge overlooks the expansive Waimakariri River and mountains of the National Park. Experience "off grid" living at its best on a small environmental footprint. To stay costs $175 per night for bed and homemade breakfast (for 2 people). You have the option to book up to 4 people in your group, as I have two Queen rooms available. I'm more than happy to share a 2-course meal + wine/beer for $35 pp and spend time sharing stories.

There are stunning views of everything from The Remarkables, Lake Wakatipu, Cecil and Walter Peak. Freshly snow capped on a cold morning, Cecil will speak to your soul.

Queen room with an additional single bed, bathroom, offering a clean, practical & comfortable stay for solo travelers and couples looking for an easy stopover or to spend a few nights. Facilities include tea & coffee making facilities, kettle, microwave, mini-fridge and toaster. The property is 20 minutes from Franz Josef, centralized near a local café & grocer, petrol station, children's playground, and tour companies including the White Heron Sanctuary Tours.

Poolburn Adventure Hub (Poolburn Suite)

Since the 1920s the Poolburn Hotel has been the meeting place of the Ida Valley. Nestled in the remote highlands of Central Otago, between Dunedin and the Lakes District, the valley is home to a close-knit farming community. Wander amongst the plants, watch the native birds, and brew up your own herbal tea if you wish to.

Newly renovated to open in September 2023, each room provides quality Sleepyhead Elegance beds for restful sleep. A new guest lounge area has been developed to compliment the garden setting. Everything you want to explore is right outside the door of this place.

Forest Lodge is a unique alpine wilderness lodge situated in the heart of the Craigieburn Range. We are an off-grid lodge relying mainly on solar energy for electricity. Forest Lodge has amazing bush hikes and mountain biking right from the doorstep aswell as incredible night skies and spectacular sunrises. If you are seeking a mountain escape, rest assured you will find what you are after.

Amuri Estate Lodge allows for a great get away. Three tastefully decorated comfortable rooms with joint, kitchen, dining and lounge facilities all warmed by a double sided schist gas fire and under floor heating. Our guest rooms have their own distinctive character and unique views. This room contains a super-king size bed with en-suite toilet and shower.
