The location is brilliant, overlooking Acacia Bay’s popular swimming and kayaking bay. Walk to the water in two minutes. The boat ramp is a short two min drive and we are seven minutes by car to Taupo township. The perfect spot for your next break. The views are amazing! A special Kiwi experience!

Forget your worries in this spacious & serene space. Redwood Lake house has been established for the McMillan family to have time out from the busy world, a place to loose ourselves for a few days of R & R. We the family wish to share this piece of paradise with its unique setting with the wider world. You could choose to leave social media & the like at home. We have games, walks, kayaks for the lake (2 minutes walk). Time to just sit & read in the sun, inside or out. Enjoy. Relax. Refresh

Lake & Mountain views. 10 min stroll down hill to the lake/2 mile bay. 5 minute walk to local dairy/shop. 7 minute drive to centre to main town centre. Max guests is 4 including children & infants. Sorry - airbnb settings do not allow us to specify this in guest number settings, they only let us exclude children completely.

Lovely, 1-bedroom, self contained unit, double glazed windows. Own courtyard in a sunny garden, the courtyard includes a private area for you to lockup 2 bikes. Close to Taupo lake and town. This unit is in the lower part of our home, which is a 2-storey building. Your access, courtyard and living areas are all completely separate from ours, with off street parking. Your privacy during your stay is our utmost consideration and therefore we take all steps necessary to leave you to relax.
