Your cottage is right beside the sea with private jetty and mooring in our own little Bay. Cook your meals in your fully equipped kitchen. Your hosts Marty and Sabine live close by. This is a beautiful, wild forested place with no roads or cars but rich with birdsong and silence. A great place to relax, swim, fish, walk or row in the bay. Sea access only. Pelorus Mail Boat service cheapest option charging $60 per person or half price for children 15 yrs or under. 3 private Havelock water taxis.

#2 Countryside Cabin Plus

Set on the grounds of Murchison Motorhome Park is this Queen bed cabin suitable for one or two adults only (no pets, children, or Additional guests). Guests will have access to the kitchen and bathrooms in the main building which includes a log fire and hot showers and coined operated laundry. If joining us in summer, you will love our walking track and outside garden area with access to some of the best river swimming spots in the area. Bring your own breakfast. LATEST check-in time is 8pm.

Haven Cabin - no roads here.

Haven Cabin offers a peaceful place to stay with views of beautiful Endeavour Inlet from the covered deck and outdoor dining area. The cabin sleeps 2 adults, has a separate shower room and an outdoor covered kitchen, or Furneaux Lodge restaurant is a 25 minute walk away. Access is by water taxi from Picton, ask to be dropped off at Miners Jetty Q5573, the cabin is a short walk from the jetty. Access is also by walking the Queen Charlotte Track, we are ideal as your first night's accommodation.

Otuwhero Oasis

Welcome to our peaceful cabin, a hidden gem nestled among native trees and overlooking a sunny clearing on our working farm in a tranquil valley. Just a 5-minute drive from the entrance to the stunning Abel Tasman National Park and its golden sandy beaches, this retreat offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. After a day of swimming, kayaking, or hiking, unwind on the deck with a refreshing drink, enjoy a hot shower, and settle in for a restful night’s sleep in this quiet oasis.

The Ligar Bay, Modern Kiwi Bach, Calm Sea Bliss

Come and relax with the whole family at this peaceful newly built modern bach Whether it’s a short break or a long one this spot is sure to impress, just 3-5 mins walk to the beach, great for swimming kayaking, boating all surrounded by hills and trees this spot offers seclusion and modern bach comforts. Just drive up kick back and relax! Our space is set up for 2 adults and 2 kids with single bunk beds in one room and a queen bed in the other, small adults could also be accommodated.

The Milestone.

The Milestone is a special place. We have a policy of NO CHILDREN UNDER 16 & NO SMOKING, VAPING, OR RECREATIONAL DRUGS ON THE PROPERTY. The cabin was meticulously handcrafted over a 5-year period by the owners. Nestled in a native forest/garden setting, you can enjoy the calm and spacious atmosphere, whilst still having modern amenities at your fingertips. We happily welcome & cater for touring motorcycle rider's needs. The cabin is conveniently sited within 30 minutes of the ferries.

Cottage, gardens and sea views

This cottage with elevated views is approx. 10km from Nelson. The modern interior has a dining area and kitchen equipped with a bench and sink, hot plate, microwave and fridge/freezer; a living area with a fold-out double bed settee and tv; and a delightful bedroom with a queen-sized bed and ensuite with vanity, shower and toilet. Parking is available, continuous gas-fired hot water, gas-fired BBQ, free WIFI, clean linen and towels etc. Washing and drying machines can be available.

Ruby Bay Beach Sleepout - 30 mins from Abel Tasman

This is our sleepout located next to our family home. It is artistic and peaceful. It is nestled within a 1 ha property with established fruit trees and many things for families to do and play. The sleepout has a separate wash space/kitchenette and bathroom, about 7 metres away from the sleepout. The beach is right opposite the house, and Mapua is a 2-minute drive. It's an ideal space to land in before and/or after a hike in the Abel Tasman, which is only 30 minutes away from us.

Apple Valley West THE POD

Little space of luxury Special getaway, close to Mapua Wharf for dining, galleries & amenities - perfect as a stop over to the Able Tasman National Park. Enjoy sauna, (shared with THE LOFT) outdoor bath & shower private space. Lovely views over orchard and Waimea Estuary, wake to the sunrise coming in your picture window. We are a private property with two accommodation units - The POD & The LOFT (currently owners residing at the LOFT) Situated in a working apple orchard.

The Beach Cabin Private Beach Access

Welcome to your paradise by the beach! Our self-contained Beach Cabin is nestled above idyllic Waikawa Bay, offering the best sea views on the entire property. This rustic, cosy retreat is your perfect home away from home, just a 10-minute drive from Picton. Wake up to birdsong and enjoy your morning coffee from your private outdoor seating area, overlooking the stunning bay. The cabin is surrounded by native bush, creating a peaceful base for exploring the Marlborough Sounds.

Mapua Cabbage Trees

Mapua Cabbage Trees is a comfortable self contained cabin in walking distance to Mapua Village and the Wharf. Located on a quiet side road, with it's private parking and entrance, enjoy the sunsets from the deck and the birdsong from the reserve. Perfectly located for exploring the Tasman region or a relaxing break in our beautiful village. New bathroom, secure storage for bikes etc, basic kitchen facilities and BBQ, glamping feel, small dogs welcome! See you soon :)

Marahau Kowhai Cottage

Welcome to Kowhai! Set at the start of the Marahau Valley Road, the Kowhai cottage is perfect for the start of your Abel Tasman adventure. With a lush lawn and surrounding bush, Kowhai is a one bedroom cottage with a queen and a single bed, also featuring a kitchenette and a washing machine. Only a 6 min walk to the start of the Abel Tasman walking track or dinner out at the Park Cafe. Abel Tasman Kayaks down the road for guided trips and kayak hire.
