You’ll be surrounded by wildflowers and the sounds of nature while amenities are only a 5 minute car ride away. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning while enjoying the screened in porch attached to the cabin. There’s a fire pit right out front with firewood available on premise. Relax and destress.

Welcome to Valhalla (Viking heaven.), Located on beautiful Monocle Lake. The Lake provides everything you would expect from a Northern Michigan vacation. From warm, clear water for swimming, paddling, or kayacking to miles of hiking trails at your doorstep, this space is a nature lovers dream. I have remodeled my home to create a luxurious vacation rental space for two. The rental space offers privacy and has all of the amenities you will need and to relax and enjoy your stay.

The Husky Hut-Pet Friendly, Remote, Private.

The Husky Hut is an adorable tiny home located on 10 private acres. It’s located on a well maintained gravel road with plenty of parking. This is perfect if you are looking to “camp” without the hassle of a tent and other equipment. It’s extremely private; there is no light pollution and the stars are magnificent. The cabin sleeps two guests. This is truly off-grid; no power or running water. There is a sled dog kennel nearby so expect to hear the “neighbors” during feeding time!

Relax in the serenity of Paradise View’s incomparable perspective of Whitefish Bay every morning when you awake. You will enjoy sun and moon rises from your living room, watch the birds, the freighters and the ever-changing moods on the bay. If you love hiking or snow shoeing, bird watching, cross country skiing or photography – this is the place for you. When winter arrives, we get lots of snow! Located just 14 miles from Tahquamenon State Park & 1-1/2 miles from Paradise.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

We are offering our newly remodeled studio apartment accessible thru the three car garage adjacent to our vacation home. Located in the heart of McMillan near the intersection of M-28 and County Rd 415. Just a few feet from some of the most accessible snowmobile/ORV trails located in the UP. Only minutes drive from restaurants/local grocery/gas/amenities.

Great Lakes Yurt Camp: Bearadise Yurt

Welcome to the Bearadise Yurt at Great Lake Yurt Camp in beautiful Paradise Michigan. Located down a 4.7 mile two track and nestled along the Shelldrake River, this rustic Yurt Camp is perfect for the outdoor enthusiasts to escape from it all. 4 wheel drive is required. Lots to do locally with Tehquamenon falls 35 minutes away, 30 minutes to Whitefish Point and 20 minutes to Paradise.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.
