I live on the second floor, and there's one other neighbor on the third. Walk to Golden Gate Park. This is a brilliant getaway for advanced surfers; you step right off the beach into our yard. It's convenient to go out downtown, and it's safe and quiet when you come home. Easy Muni access, free street parking, and laundry in the house.

Please note that, while we try to be respectful about noise, sound travels easily in our place. We also have two children and a cat, so you are likely to hear us at times. West Portal is a San Francisco neighborhood that is charming, safe and centrally located. Convenient to Downtown, the Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Park by public transportation. Our place is completely remodeled and tastefully decorated with good sunlight and a view of the garden. Our place is good for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids).

This is a spacious suite with private bathroom, counter. This room is at the back of our house behind the garage, window towards the wall. It has a Queen sized bed that sleeps two people. It's also equipped with a private counter. My husband and I are living upstairs, but you have your own private access downstairs to your room after entering the main door.
