Fin uteplass utanfor, rett ved skiløyper om vinteren, svært kort avstand til alpintanlegg, og ellers svært fine turområder på både sommar- og vintertid. Når det er snø er ikke veien ned til hytta brøytet. Da er parkering ved Nysetervegen og ca 100 meter og gå ned til hytta
