Our newly built, modern cabin offers a secluded and relaxing retreat in Union, Maine. With the high ceilings, open floor plan, and many windows, guests are surrounded by natural light and forest views. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and an outdoor grill and fire pit. Walking trails connect the cabin to our farm next door, where you can visit with our horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. We are just 25 minutes from the Midcoast's shops, restaurants, and beaches.

Situated on the edge of 5 acres of forest between Acadia National Park and downtown Southwest Harbor, this cozy cabin is ideal for a weekend trip or a longer stay on beautiful Mount Desert Island. Our family is excited to share our tiny house with you! Located on our artist collective farm, this is our favorite place on earth. It’s off grid, cottage core, and has a beautiful & fragrant cedar sauna. We are 27 minutes from Acadia National Park and surrounded by truly gorgeous local beaches. We offer super comfy beds, an outdoor shower, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and cozy winter movie nights in a bed alcove like on a boat.

Our cottage offers handcrafted counters, stone sinks, & oceanic tile to create a unique setting. 3 houses to the beach. Borrow a kayak & explore our shore. Property borders Scott’s Landing - a treasure trove of birds, sand dollars, porpoises, seals & a family of foxes. *Queen bed + flip down sofa (latter suitable for 1 adult OR 2 small kids)

Stonington Harbor Cottage

SPECIAL: 10% discount for a 28+ day stay. This bright and cozy two-room TINY HOUSE was built in 2018 as a honeymoon suite. A full kitchen with cookware, dinnerware, coffee pot, microwave. A heat pump provides heating and cooling. Shaded picnic table and propane grill. Parking for one car only (no trucks/trailers). Ask about extra parking. One well-behaved dog is allowed, note $35 pet fee. No other pets or children. No TV, good wifi. 10pm quiet zone.

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
