This stylish place to stay is perfect for a group of friends or a large family. Located on a farm nestled in the most beautiful valley in the Gamtoos valley. Space and more space. You can meander into the Yellowwood forest; keen birders can seek the Narina Trogen or Crowned eagle - or any of the 153 listed bird species, hikers can adventure any of 4 hiking trails, cavers can visit the well known Bats Cave, and the stressed can visit the Buzz Box, or you can just relax in total peace.

1 km from the Baviaanskloof Game Reserve Western Gate the last camp. Exactly half way between Patensie and Willowmore. Wild Camping Only 4 large campsites Prices per camp per person per night Off the grid - Hot water from solar only available at mid day on hot days. Private - 2 cave showers and 2 bathrooms. Maximum 6 persons per campsite. Groups on request. Large group site with big fire pit on premises too. Border the national park.

Cedar Farmhouse

There are 4 bedrooms, and two bathrooms, both with baths and one with a shower, in addition to the private outside shower. A spacious lounge with a comforting fire place and a beautiful wraparound veranda make you feel comfortable and at home. The farm is not on the main electricity grid nor is there any cell phone reception. Paraffin lamps are supplied in all rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and gas appliances are provided.
