Root Stone Lodge: Mountainside

One mile from the center of town in Idyllwild, the Root Stone Lodge sits above the year round flowing Strawberry Creek. Mountainside Room is one of four rooms available and features pine walled room with queen-sized pillow-top bed, large flat-screen TV, apartment size fridge, private bathroom with walk in stone shower, private full kitchen and private entrance. Enjoy in-room coffee maker, cream and sugar. From Mountainside Room, you have full access to lobby, dining room and deck with a grill.

We are sharing with you our Mountain Reserve created in the North Phoenix right by the sacred and serene Gavilan Peak/ Daisy Mountains. Coming here, you are away from all hustles and bustles, enjoy the heavenly sounds only, watching quail family daily run, cottontail rabbits hopping around, deer family wondering and if lucky all the other wild animals you can imagine. The Cowboy Suite in White Mountain Lodge is a cozy room, upstairs, with a queen bed, and private bathroom! Perfect for 1 person or a couple. Sorry, NO PETS. All guests that stay at White Mountain Lodge have access to the main lodge kitchen, as well as the common living room, & dining rooms. Guests can build a fire in the living room fireplace, grab a book or magazine, and enjoy the peace or conversation. The bar is a great place to make a drink and admire the BEST VIEW of Greer in town!

The room lets out into our courtyard oasis, and has a side door leading to a private sitting area. Situated on our secluded private grounds with a beautiful swimming pool and ample free parking.
