There are 2 incredible beaches within walking distance of the cottage as well as amazing scenery. Island hopping adventures abound with 4 ferries within a short drive offering day trips to Gigha, Islay, Jura, Arran and Cowal.

The Lighthouse Cottage

Located in one of the most secluded parts of Scotland, Davaar Island provides a tranquil rural retreat. The Lighthouse Keepers Cottage has been restored into a beautiful, spacious and luxurious 1/2 bedroom cottage in its own private compound. We are less than a 5 minute drive to the beautiful beaches and golf courses that surround us. A perfect get away for walkers, surfers, golfers or if whiskey is your thing there are 3 distilleries to explore! Come and enjoy all that Kintyre has to offer and stay in our fully renovated apartment, you won’t be disappointed.

Ground floor apartment, refurbished to a high standard, very clean, comfortable, suntrap in back court, patio area. Central to town & close to all amenities. Sits on the famous Glebe Street which was once regarded as the most valuable street in Scotland due to the amount of Whisky which was in bond. Glebe Street still hosts 2 working distilleries today Springbank and Glengyle. 10-20 minute drive to all local beaches and golf courses. 5 minute walk from bus stance. 5 minute drive to airport.

Views from the living room look out onto the sea and it's a stones throw away from the beach. Separate entrance with garden. Free parking. Bedlinen and towels provided. Free wifi.

Harbours Edge Our 2nd floor apartment has stunning views over the Harbour and Marina and offers a stay for Up to 3 guests (Double bed and a single in the Lounge). It’s a stones throw from the town centre with shops, bars and cafes selling local crafts and produce. Near to the apartment is the renowned art nouveau Picture House, one of the earliest surviving working cinemas in Scotland which opened in 1913. There are Fantastic Golf Courses, Whisky tours, Walks and Beaches to enjoy.

Apartment Mafeking Place

Apartment is in an excellent location, just a few steps away from local restaurants, cafes, and pubs. Bus station 2 minutes walk. The apartment is located on the 4th floor, allowing you to admire beautiful views of the sea and mountains. Please note that the apartment is at the very top of the building and there is no elevator. However, the view from the windows makes up for any difficulties in climbing.

Alma Cottage

Well equipped one bedroom converted workshop right next to Lochindaal with open plan living/dining area and kitchen, log burning stove, television and free wifi. Bathroom - wc, sink and with an electric shower. Please note when trying to locate us, maps may take you to a group of houses on the opposite of the road to where our accommodation is. We are located on the sea side of the road.
