The Studio is a moderate sized living quarters set up purposely for lounging, relaxing, personal entertainment and rest. Set within the compound of a historical property (The Box T Ranch built in 1902), the studio is the perfect home plate for all your Southern Arizona adventures. Our studio is just a short 20 minute drive to Patagonia Lake gate, Patton's hummingbird center, 4 minute drive or 20 minute walk. We are directly on the Arizona trail within minutes to numerous other hikes! If you keep traveling on Harshaw there are plenty of great ATV trails. You’ll love our place because the views are great and the beds are extremely comfortable.

Sky Island Retreat is a quiet and peaceful hilltop retreat in which you can relax and enjoy the natural beauty of this historic area. The casita is the original but updated ranch house built in the late 60’s. We have kept much of its original charm while upgrading to modern comfort and conveniences. We are located on a privately gated property just minutes from the heart of Sonoita and Southern AZ’s growing wine country.

Our quiete place is nestled in the foothills of the Santa Rita Mountains at the Grasslands High Desert.
