Our Seaside cottage must be very high up for the best views in Cape Town. The place is simple, sweet& cozy but with BBQ & veranda for summer. Endless ocean views (whales and dolphins in winter), always a cooling breeze in summer (or the famous South Easter). The cottage is perfectly located so you can escape the hustle but at the same time are close enough to all attractions that Cape Town has to offer! Holiday home outside Simonstown on the Cape Peninsula, close to the "penguin beach". Sleeps four in two bedrooms. Open plan kitchen/lounge flows onto a large deck with expansive sea views. Two full bathrooms (main en-suite). Within easy reach of Cape Point Reserve, and the delightful shops & restaurants of Simonstown, Kalk Bay & Muizenberg. Walking distance to swimming spots. This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

This is the newest and best kitted out beach bungalow out of the 26 in the private nature reserve of Smitswinkel Bay, near Cape Point. A perfect barefoot holiday spot for reconnecting. Off grid, with solar powered fridge, gas appliances and candles and solar lamps at night. Built in braai on the deck and cozy wood stove inside. The architect-designed bungalow is spectacular with views from every angle and is beautifully decorated and kitted out. Great swimming and snorkelling!

Large sliding doors disappear into the walls creating an unimpeded indoor/outdoor flow while the elevated position protects your privacy. The open plan bathroom faces onto an enclosed secret garden which includes a frame-less glass shower. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette and is serviced daily except weekends and public holidays.
