Oculus House, a wood & stone neighborhood retreat

The Oculus House is a peaceful one bedroom house with a king size bed. It is located down a private alley in a quiet neighborhood. It’s open floor plan and high ceilings gives a balance of comfort and artistic appeal. There is a lounging loft which can be used as a sleeping space for agile children and adults. We have designed the house to honor the era in which it was built and elevate the aesthetic. The kitchen is well-stocked and the bathroom has a luxurious jetted tub.

This is a private guest suite attached to our home (not a detached unit), with its own separate entrance and patio. Exclusive guest suite in striking new modern home tucked into the forested ridgelines of the Tualatin Mountains north of Portland. Our tiny home started life as a commuter bus in Manchester, England, in 1953, then did stints in San Francisco and Mt. St. Helens before finding a home as the Grilled Cheese Grill in Portland. Now it’s been reimagined as a mid century modern-inspired tiny home, with whimsical painting details from one of its former lives and fresh new handmade details that make it a cozy, inspiring stay.
