About the house: We are a young azorean couple, who lived in this house for 3 years. The house is more than 100 years old and it has been in the family for all this time. It's still our favourite house because of its particular charming features and for the invigorating energy it transmits to those who wish to listen to the splendid sounds of nature. But our family grew bigger and we had to move to another house, we could also call home. We didn't go far, we live just 100 meters away! Now we want to share this house with those who are looking for a calm and inspiring place to relax even for just a few days. This house is different and can make you experience unforgetable moments. Fica muito próximo de vários pontos de interesse, como lagoas das Sete Cidades, uma das 7 maravilhas de Portugal, Piscinas naturais dos Mosteiros, onde também pode fazer whalewatching e Termas da Ferraria, onde pode tomar banho de água quente no mar, algo único e aqui ao lado. No nosso espaço pode disfrutar de uma maravilhosa vista para o mar onde o sol se põe o ano inteiro e também para as montanhas da cratera das Sete Cidades.

“Casa AuriI” is a lovely and traditional stone house, located in the centre of the little village of Faial da Terra, an ideal location to explore the East part of São Miguel Island! Near by “Casa Auri”: famous trails of Salto do Prego, Cagarrão and Sanguinho; beach with lifeguards in Summer time and little public pool; snack-bar and supermarket. From Ponta Delgada airport to Faial da Terra by car: 67km, 1h15’. “Casa Auri” has a private park.

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A CAT living in the cottage, she's an INDOOR/OUTDOOR CAT. If you don't like cats or are allergic to them, the cottage is not a suitable option for you.
