Reikaku Yasaka was a building in ruins with the floor tilted by at least 30cm when we discovered this hidden jewel. The restoration was particularly difficult due to the state it was in but our craftsman’s determination to bring this Machiya back to its formal glory paid off for Reikaku Yasaka. You can come to the nearest station in about 5 minutes by a train that is directly connected from Kyoto station. Also, as the bus station is also located 1 minutes from the station, access to transportation necessary for sightseeing during stay is outstanding. Basically, we accept more than 5 people.
