The studio is adjacent to the Saguaro National Park for a stunning desert experience away from congested Covid 19 areas, yet only a leisure 30 minute drive toTucson's downtown Arts and Restaurant district should you want to venture into town. Other major attractions, such as the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum and Old Tucson amusement park are only a few minutes away. Hiking and Mountain bike trails are abundant. Relax at the end of an adventurous day in it's private hot tub under the stars.

Saguaro Retreat

Our home is close to a wonderful choice of restaurants, activities, art, and culture. We are in a great location with saguaro cactus and terrific views of the mountains. The saguaro cactus lining our driveway provide a wonderful welcome. The second floor of our home is dedicated to the guest suite. It's very private and has a separate entrance. The guest suite is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We are located 7 miles north of the University of Arizona campus.

Before you book… many unhoused people live in our neighborhood. Relax in this comfortable 500sf 1-bedroom urban retreat with a lot of unique charm. One mile from the heart of downtown, your quiet accommodations include include a comfortable queen bed, a comfortable couch-bed, dining table, fast wifi, shower with endless hot water, full kitchen, 24-hour access to a private hot tub, our relaxing shared back yard with trees, a fire pit, a chiminea, many cats 🐈🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛, and turtles.

Welcome to Saguaro Suite---Southwest retreat with private entrance. Unfortunately we cannot accept cats. This is not a whole house. It’s a 600 sqft. studio with private bathroom, entrance, and patio in fenced yard. Queen bed and futon. It includes a 60 video game table, a Billiards/ping pong table, cooktop and supplies. Come stay at the Ocotillo Casita at Cat Mountain! Located feet from Tucson Mountain Park and inside Cat Mountain Station, this location is perfect for nature lovers and style hunters alike. The building was built around a John Wayne museum in the 1950's, but converted into three 1,200 sq. ft casitas in 2023. The unique décor in the space is locally sourced, creating a vintage ranch vibe surrounded by Ocotillo. It is perfect for travelers looking to relax in the Sonoran Desert.
