This spot is a 1.5 hour drive from us. It used to be a train station. It sits on the iconic Highway 1, with stunning cliff-hanger views of the Pacific Ocean. The food here is Organic & Ocean fresh. The dairy is local & delicious. If you do this excursion we're pretty sure that it'll become one the most memorable in your life.

This spot is a 1.5 hour drive from us. It used to be a train station. It sits on the iconic Highway 1, with stunning cliff-hanger views of the Pacific Ocean. The food here is Organic & Ocean fresh. The dairy is local & delicious. If you do this excursion we're pretty sure that it'll become one the most memorable in your life.
You can take BART to the Embarcadero Station, grab everything you need for a picnic, & then take a Ferry & head on over to Angel Island. Here you can hike, bike, sunbath, swim, and relax.

Tilden Park is an half hour drive from us. Once there, you can take a lovely, 1.5 mile, hike to Inspiration Point to get an unobstructed view of the Bay. Ride a steam train. Or ride on the Carousal. Picnic. or visit the Little Farm. Whatever you do, be sure to be on Grizzly Peak at Sunset to get the most glorious view of the Bay Area, from San Rafael Bridge all the way to San Mateo Bridge.

Sausalito feels more like an Italian seaside resort. Plain gorgeous! You can take BART to San Francisco & then take a Ferry to here. Definitely worth the effort.

About an hour drive from us. I just love to drive/bike through the canopy over the entrance road to the VA memorial. On the other end sits Yountville, the birth place of the French Laundry. You're in middle of Napa Valley. Natural Hot Springs in Calistoga, Massage, Wine & Dine on a classy coach train, Balloon ride at Dawn or dusk. Best of everything in one place.
