I've been eating at Grayson's since I was a little girl. They have the best barbeque I've ever tasted. It definitely has a local feel and smells out-of-this-world good. Highly recommended. Try the chip sandwich on a homemade bun and the chocolate cookies. The best time to go is lunchtime.

A great place to eat and meet locals. Get a taste of real Southern cooking, such as fried catfish, fried frog legs, or just relax with drinks and appetizers. A sure way to have a great time on the Natchitoches River Bank!

Natchitoches is known as the city of lights. Definitely worth the trip to downtown to see the Christmas Festival between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Fireworks on Saturdays and the entire downtown is decked with lights. So beautiful right on the river bank.
