Lincoln Center Plaza is a gorgeous and tranquil place to relax. You're surrounded by great architecture and art, and it feels almost removed from the city. In the summer, the grass lawn is great!

The High Line is a beautifully landscaped urban park above old train tracks. It's very romantic and right on the Hudson River. There are many opportunities to lounge and sightsee. Also, great food.
