This is the place to hit if you want to brunch then beach. A short walk from the suite, The Village is known for their inventive use of latkes (think latke eggs benedict). Come early, as this neighbourhood brunch spot fills up quickly.

The Oak Bay Marina has something for everyone. Resident seals are there to entertain visitors with their clapping and spinning (be warned, they really only like the fish you can buy at the marina). There's a coffee shop with a beautiful patio overlooking the water, serving lunch or snack items, as well as ice cream. They also have a gorgeous restaurant where you can take in stunning views of the bay, and all of the boating activity.

A beautiful gardens with a romantic creation story, the Abkhazi Garden cannot be missed. About a 2 km walk from the suite, this Garden also has a tea house for a little break.

Willows Beach is the iconic family beach in Victoria. This mile long sandy beach also has a playground and large grassy area perfect for lounging, picnics or even barbecues. If you don't want to bring your own food, there is a concession open all summer, with burgers, fries, etc and offering breakfast on the weekends.
