Their BBQ is wonderful! This is my favorite BBQ joint in Memphis. I'd recommend the BBQ pork nachos with jalapeños.

Their sno cones are iconic in Memphis. Get it "supreme" and enjoy soft serve ice cream in your sno cone. Their food is quite delicious as well. Remember to bring cash...this is a CASH ONLY establishment.

A must-do experience in my opinion, the National Civil Rights Museum is located at the historic Lorraine Motel in downtown Memphis where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was killed on April 4, 1968. There is much to learn about the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 60s and this museum gives you an opportunity to experience some of that while also seeing the role that Memphis played in the movement.

There is much to learn about the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 60s and this museum gives you an opportunity to experience some of that while also seeing the role that Memphis played in the movement.
An old Sears distribution center, the Crosstown Concourse was recently renovated into a mixed-use building with apartments, businesses, restaurants, an art gallery, and more. There is also a brewery, Crosstown Brewery, on the property.

This museum takes you through the history of soul music and highlights the role that Stax Records and soul music played in 1960s to bring together people of different races in Memphis, uniting them through music. A big favorite of mine.
